Since the global warming issue, ”Go Green” or “Back to Nature” is widely spread all over the world. People begin to look for natural material and concept to be applied in everything including in home making either for the furniture. This concept is then known eco-friendly house.
Wood house is popular mainly in a big city where the people there miss the natural atmosphere around them. By living in the wood house, they can still feel the village atmosphere giving comfort and relaxation to them without losing the esthetic side of their living.
As well for the furniture, since many years ago wood still be preferred by mostly people. Both wood house and furniture are providing natural atmosphere either has exotic, sophisticated, and unique design. However, this issue is not solved simply by using natural material. As did in Java, Indonesia teak plantations are regulated by the government which sets rules about the size and number of trees. It may be harvested as well as guarantee that trees are replanted to maintain the productivity of Teak forests.
There are also several official certificates to prove that the wood used legally and in accordance with the rules and regulations. This prevents the illegal logging and timber smuggling. Thus many furniture exporters use certified wood material, as their customers also require it. The need for wood is increasing however we also need to maintain continuity of our forests.

I’m a big supporter of eco-friendly houses. Wood is going to have to be preserved or it will get more expensive in both financial and environmental terms.
