Parquet is defined as a floor composed of short strips or blocks of wood forming a pattern, sometimes with inlays of other woods or other materials. Parquet usually consists of three layers, polyfoam as the basis, plywood, and parquet wood on the surface. Plywood functioned to stabilize the floor in order to manage the adjustment of high temperature. This layer, plywood, usually made of solid hardwoods like teak, walnut, oak, or merbau.
